Knowledge and Respect

Chloe Spinks

‘My Uncle painted a story about Three Emus being watched over by Elders and Ancestral Spirit Beings in the sky. The lesson in the story is we must always respect our Elders and our Ancestors because they are always watching over us, sharing their knowledge and leading the way. It’s one of the key rules to living life as an Aboriginal person. This is my version of that story.’
