"Coolamon is very important for culture. All the boys are spread out from all over NSW and all the boys with the artwork, KBH artwork, are very much involved. So it's very important for us to keep our culture going, like individual culture from different countries in NSW, but our own Kinchela culture. KBH is still spreading the message of truth-telling."

A Gumbaynggirr man and survivor of the Stolen Generations, Uncle Roger Jarrett is a painter, carver, sculptor, storyteller, educator, cultural leader and writer.

Uncle Colin Davis is a KBH Survivor who was kidnapped from Cowra NSW by welfare authorities when he was around 11yrs old. He was given the number 50 as a replacement for his name upon arriving at KBH.

Uncle Robert ‘Bobby’ Young
Gamilaroi man Uncle Robert ‘Bobby’ Young was sent to KBH in the 1950s. He was given the number 24 and told his parents had passed away. However, Uncle Bobby met his mother years later by accident in a Redfern TAB and she was very much alive! So was his father.
